Jouw werkplek

Onze Finance afdeling is het financiële hart van Vermaat. Samen zijn wij verantwoordelijk voor het sturen, bewaken en rapporteren van de financiële gezondheid van het bedrijf (400 horecalocaties!). Door de inzet, betrokkenheid, mentaliteit en vooral inhoudelijke kennis gaan wij elke dag de uitdaging aan, zodat we samen een mooie groei kunnen doormaken. De finance afdeling bestaat uit controlling, grootboek, crediteuren en debiteuren.

Binnen het gemixte team van junior, medior en senior finance professionals hangt een fijne sfeer. Er wordt hard gewerkt, maar er is ook zeker tijd voor humor en een potje tafeltennis! Daarnaast is iedereen bereid een stapje harder te lopen om met z’n allen tot een goed eindresultaat te komen.

Your workday at Vermaat

It’s Monday and while enjoying a fresh cup of coffee we discuss the weekend with our colleagues. Meanwhile, you’re checking what’s on the agenda and what it is you’re going to work on today. Setting up our accounting manual also includes having alignment sessions with our Group Controllers and our International colleagues in the local markets (e.g. France and Germany).

Having worked on that it’s time for lunch. After a healthy salad or sandwich, you could play some ping pong or take a walk outside. Fully charged you get back to work and jointly work with the Group Controllers on your assignment. We have on open door policy so if you have questions there’s always somebody available to assist you. At the end of the day, we have a short recap to discuss the progress and jointly define areas where we can improve ourselves. Then it’s time to go home, relax and enjoy the evening!

Your capabilities

You’re following a finance-oriented Bachelor or University education,
You’re looking for an internship with impact and in addition enhance your finance skills,
You prefer working in a team with a “yes, we can” mentality,
Having affinity with food and drinks? Nice, we do to!
You’re willing to travel to either IJsselstein or Schiphol WTC.
