With about 2.500 lunch guests, Booking.com is one of VERMAAT’s biggest company restaurants partner in downtown Amsterdam. We provide restaurant services for this international company across multiple locations. Together with the sous chef and your team, you strive for the very best result every day. Our locations are innovative in every way and offer special, sustainable, healthy dishes. As an independently working cook, you have a blank canvas for your culinary creativity - it’s even expected of you. From cream of tomato soup to delicious Indian curries or a vitello tonnato, you know best how to surprise our (inter)national guests every day. No standard cyclical menu, you let our guests enjoy eating and drinking together with fresh, quality products. As an independently working cook you supervise and guarantee the quality of the fresh products and do preparatory work during lunch and dinner. Besides, you share responsibility for the daily affairs and processes in the kitchen.

Wie ben je?

  • You have completed a relevant culinary education at MBO level and want to take the next step in your culinary career.
  • You have already gained some work experience (2 years) during a side job or internship.
  • You are flexible and available from mid-August. You don’t mind working on weekdays.
  • You are creative and have attention to detail.
  • You are up-to-date on HACCP regulations.
  • You are highly enthusiastic and flexible.
  • You live in or near Amsterdam.
